She was predeceased by: her husband Aaron Lankester, Sr.; her daughter Sharon Diane Lankester; her great grandchild Kinsley Kate Walker; her parents, Dallas T. Cornette and Sybil Jean Cornette; and her siblings, Robin Cornette, Rebecca Caddell, Pamela Price and Neal Cornette.
She is survived by: her children, Karon Durham, Chandra Everidge and Aaron Lankester, Jr.; her grandchildren, Joshua Walker (Emily), Sadie Edwards (Zach), Seth Everidge, Jacob Durham and Katie Holland (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Aubrey Walker, Rebekah Walker, Gwendolyn Walker, Halston Walker, Sophia Edwards, Mason Edwards, Brayden Townsend and Lexi Townsend; her siblings, Charlene Mincey (Kenneth), Darrell Cornette (Sherry), Eddie Lee Cornette, Bo Cornette, Balerie Daniel and Nicky Cornette (Crystal); and her sister-in-law Martha Ragsdale. She is also survived by her family, cherishing moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church.
