With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Edward Marlin of Acworth, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Marlin and Carol Marlin. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marlin; his children, Sasha Anne Freeman (Evan), Lydia Ware (Steven) and Tanner Marlin (Caroline); his sisters, Suzan Smith (Brad) and Nancy Ridge (Larry); and his grandchildren, Ennsley, Liam, Ezra, Raylan, Duke, Magnolia, Willow and Saylor.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Georgia Funeral Care (4671 S Main St, Acworth, GA 30101). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Doug and Donna requested that donations be made in his memory to Hope Fellowship Church, 2300 Bethelview Rd, Ste 110-347, Cumming, GA 30040.
