He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Lawhorn and Blanche Hufsetetler Lawhorn; his wife Betty Louise Ward Lawhorn; and his brothers, Tommy Lawhorn and Donald Lawhorn.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Dahl (Chris) and Curtis Lawhorn Jr.; and his grandchildren, Ashley Dahl, Taylor Dahl, Ryan Lawhorn, Tyler Lawhorn and Hayley Altamirano (Solomon). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, other friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Wellstar Hospice or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
