She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert John Wesley Arnold and Emma Lee Peavy Arnold. She is survived by: her husband Willie E. Johnson, Jr.; her daughters, Candace Frazier and Christian Johnson; her grandson Caleb Frazier; and her siblings, Brutus Arnold, Claudette McCarthan, Brenda Mumpfield, Zerry Aronold and Reinette Arnold. She is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

After leaving Hughes Spalding Hospital, Beverly continued her career working for the Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority, Georgia Medical Care Foundation, and Crawford Long Hospital.
