It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Hurst of Acworth, Georgia, born in Canton, Georgia, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winton A Worley and Ara Mae Worley; her husband James Hurst; her son Doug; and her son-in-law James Konecny.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Kuykendall (Cliff) of Cherry Log and Lynn Konecny of Trion; and her brother James Worley of Cedartown. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
