It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger L. Nickerson of Zolfo Springs, Florida, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle and Clara (Townsend); his brother Norm; his sister-in-law Phillis Nickerson of Wauchula; his stepsons, Donnie Boyd of Zolfo Spring and John Merritt of Lake Placid; and his brother Howard Nickerson (Debra) of Live Oak.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his pet Abby; his children, Kelly Nickerson (Meylin) of Ft. Meade, Leanne Moore (Kevin) of Wauchula and Connie Montgomery (Roger) of Wauchula; his stepchildren, Kathy Boyd of Zolfo Spring, Jody Sullivan (Kevin) of Arcadia and Marty Merritt of Lake Placid; and his grandchildren, Colby Nickerson (Katlyn) of Ft. Meade, Mason Nickerson (Vanessa) of Bartow, Lynsi Nickerson of Ft. Meade, Lauren Moore of Wauchula, Ryan Moore of Wauchula, Tristan Montgomery of Wauchula, Wyatt Montgomery of Wauchula, Lee Killmon (Ashley) of Arcadia, Kandice Browning (Christopher) of Lavonia, Dan Sullivan (Melissa) of Arcadia, Calder Boyd of Sarasota and Jordan Dieter (Brandon) of Zolfo Spring. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
