He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Dean and Lenore E. Dean (Dixon); his siblings, Thane, Dennis Dean and Annette Wood; and his grandson Zachary.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dean (Self); his children, Patrick Dean (Jodi) and Jennifer (Michael Gerschick); and his grandchildren, Tayler, Caleb, Jake, Dylan (Sydney) and Bumpa.
