Sylvia, Sr. and Victoria Zalewski; his wife Gail; his daughter Beth Garbo (Sylvia); his husband David Garbo, Sr. of Stonington; his sons, David Sylvia (Caroline) and Brian Sylvia of Salem; his siblings, Fay Lloyd (Phillip) of Waterford, Karen Peterson (Terrance) of East Hampton and Richard Sylvia (Ruth Hoberman) of Charleston; and also, Garrett Garborcauskas of Cambridge, Catharine Garbo, David Garbo, Jr. of Stonington, William Sylvia of Preston and Ryan Sylvia (Blair) of Milford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
