He is survived by: his children, Julane Jackson, Douglas and Peter Pemberton; and his grandchildren, Lauren Edmunds, Douglas Pemberton Jr., Reiko Carter, Thomas MacDowall Jr. and Madeline Pemberton. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
