She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Bare and Dora Bare; her husband Roger A. Blackburn; and her siblings, Clayton Bare, Clifford Bare and Peggy Bare Ziglar.
She is survived by: her sister Mary B. Higgins of Sparta; her nieces and nephews, Barbara Rector (Blake) of Sparta, Belinda Masterjohn (Tony) of Raeford, Joan Skipper of Elizabethtown, Daren Ziglar (Jennifer) of Belews Creek and Johnny Evans of Elizabethtown; her brother-in-law Charlie Ziglar of Walkertown; and her pets, Snuggles and Bella. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
