He was predeceased by: his wife Cora Jane Fillion Mitchell; his parents, Vernon George and Hazel Marie Schaffer Mitchell; and his daughter Judy Marie Coleman. He is survived by: his children, Vernon, Linda Mitchell, Mark and Tara Mitchell; his siblings, George Mitchell and Karen Houghton; and his grandchildren, Jason, Ryan Mitchell, Cortney, Melanie, Ryan Coleman, Jennifer, Melissa, Mark Jr. and Kevin Mitchell. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contribution may be made in Roberts name to Gulfside Hospice.
