He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma M. Young and Robert L. Giles Sr.; and his siblings, Patricia A. Welsh and John K. Giles. He is survived by: his wife Debra Giles; his children, Robert L. Giles III, Paula J. Young, Chris L. Giles, Becky Giles-Samec and Tina Matlock; and his sisters, Glenda Giles, Carol Giles and Suzie Giles. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
