He was predeceased by: his father Carl Armstrong; his stepmother Bina; his mother Laberta Franks (Franks); his siblings, Karl Armstrong, Lillian and Brenda; his stepsister Jorita Stowell; his half-sister Betty Kirby; his niece Karen Hall; and his nephew Richard Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Armstrong (Randall); his daughters, Cindy Voisinet (Barry) of Laingsburg, Cherie Smith (Mark) of Ovid, Chris Miller (Bob) of Lansing and Carolyn Wing; his grandchildren, Dillon Voisinet (Anne), Grant Voisinet (Jessica), Keri Moon (Jamison), Erica Delgado (Yeno), Katrina Smith, Nicki Curtis (Kyle), Haley Martinez, Tori Maxey (Logan) and McKenzie Benner; his brother Bobby Armstrong (Sherrie); and his sisters-in-law, Wiltse Armstrong, Janet Rejimbal (Pete) and Dianne McCormick (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He had a special place in his heart by volunteering his time organizing and coordinating the Santa Scramble in Harrison, Michigan, where funds are donated for less fortunate children's Christmas gifts.
