He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Hill and Hattie Stanley Hill; and his siblings, Lib, Cindy, Mable, Faye, Brenda, Marie and Eddie Wilson Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Winstead Hill; his children, Toney (Maureen) of Virginia, Roland (Sharon) of South Carolina and Sonia Parker (Joe) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Karen, David, Andrew and Savannah; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua and Gabby; his siblings, Louise Clemmons, Patsy Worrells and Linwood Hill; and his stepchildren, Gregg Joyner (Mandy) and Angela Joyner. He is also survived by three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
