She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Raymond Mason and Lillian Lavona Mason (Butts); her siblings, Robert Heiney and Joy Cooper; and her granddaughter-in-law Holly Szilagyi.
She is survived by: her stepfather Llewelyn "Jack" Heiney; her husband John Szilagyi; her children, Kathleen Hunt (David) of Ovid, MI, Steven Szilagyi (Joy) of Mason, MI and Linda Remsburg (Scott Schuhmacher) of Gwinn, MI.; her grandchildren, Alyssa Farver (Mark) of Caledonia, MI, John Szilagyi of Mason, Loren Hunt of Ovid, Beth Rodriguez (Ben) of Holt, MI, Clinton Remsburg (Rachel Rood) of De Pere, WI and Connor Remsburg of Gwinn; her great grandchildren, Max Farver and Colton Remsburg; and her sister Leigh Smith of Owosso. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
