He is survived by: his children, Michael (Kerri Gardner), Michele (Allen Dye) and Tammy (Andrew Steppenbacker); his siblings, Mary Louise Ode-Viala and James Gardner; his grandchildren, Amber Cusick, Sarah Uehlein, Megan Prechtl, Michael Gardner III, Christina Gardner, Cody Gardner, Justin Robinson and Kayla Steppenbacker; and his great grandchildren, Kaia Jakab and Harrison Uehlein.
