He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Griffin and Virginia Singletary Griffin; and his siblings, Ronnie Griffin (Rubye) and Vera Pike. He is survived by: his wife Terry Odette Griffin of Zephyrhills, FL; his children, MaLeisa Griffin Cross (Ken) of Oglethorpe, GA, Berta Griffin Cox (Paul, Jr.) of Oglethorpe, GA and Roy Griffin, Jr. (Angela) of Gainesville, GA; his siblings, Wayne Griffin (Betsy) of Montezuma, GA, Donnie Griffin (Dale) of Zebulon, GA, Jay Griffin (Marilyn) of Oglethorpe, GA, Carolyn Griffin Lloyd of Americus, GA and Marilyn Griffin of Oglethorpe, GA; his grandchildren, Krissy Bennett (Kyle), Brandon Cox (Kristen), Lea Burch (Chris), Ashley Way (Sam), Kenny Cross, Samantha Griffin and Rhett Griffin; his brother-in-law Paul Pike; and his pet Gator. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
