She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Martell and Alice Martell (Guy); her husband Lawrence Ashby; her brothers, Keith and Wilber Martell; and her granddaughter Charly Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Periso (James) of Lapeer and James Ashby (Jacqueline Anderson) of Bellingham, WA; and her grandchildren, Scott Periso (Michon), Dana Smith (John), Kathryn Procunier (David), Jaime Ashander (Jen), Liam Ashander (Becca) and Kellen Ashander (Anne). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
