He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Bast Widrick. He is survived by: his wife Florence "Flo" Bast; his sons, Ken, Jr. (Dawn) and Joseph E. Bast; his siblings, Robert, Lawson, Durwood (Lois Bast), Janie Stoffer and Marjorie (Warren Wiedner); his grandchildren, Kirk Bast, Lisa Bast-Lagos and Joseph C. Bast; and his great grandchildren, Scott Lagos, Gabe Bast, Benjamin Lagos, Nora Bast and Evelyn Lagos.
