He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Merrill and Margaret Merrill; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his former wife Constance Loretta Brown; his children, Jeffrey, Stacey, Joseph III and Nadine; his wife Connie; his sons, Jeff (Heather) and Joe III (Stephanie); his siblings, Gerry and George; his grandchildren, Kurt, Ashlye and Joseph IV; and his great grandchild Noah. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
