He was predeceased by: his parents, James Trenter and Phoebe Trenter (Simpson). He is survived by: his wife Karen Roth Trenter; his children, Brett Trenter (Stephanie) and Branda Harder (Paul); his grandchildren, Adyson Harder and Dylan Harder; and his nephew Raymond Quiroz. He is also survived by three sisters; two nephews.
