She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Mitchell, Jr.; her parents, Harry Johnston and Willa Johnston (Quebec); and her brother Paul Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Robert C. Mitchell, Betty Ann Whitney, Margaret Pierce, Harry Mitchell and Charles E. Mitchell; and her sister Carolyn Bohuslav. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren.
