We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2021, at the age of 79, Gordon O Nix of Zephyrhills, Florida, born in Brinson, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Nix and Ida Nix (Love); his siblings, Lizzie Beth Costa, Mary Jane Page and Jake Nix; his nephews, Pete Lewis, Michael Lewis and Gene Lewis; and his niece Amanda Rhodes.
He is survived by: his friend David; his wife Norma K. Nix (Meech); his children, Randy Nix (Tela), Chris Nix, Christie Leab (Jerry), Danny Nix (Jodie), Eric Nix (Jody), Lynne Nix and Joseph Nix; and his siblings, Elizabeth Campbell, Ellen Sturgill (Samuel), J. E. Nix and Emory Nix (Audrey). He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and "schools" of nieces, nephews, and friends.
