He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hammond and Mable Littlefield Hammond; his siblings, Peggy and Bill; and his granddaughter Jessica.
He is survived by: his wife Dede Pickard; and his children, Bruce Hammond (Lesa), Wayne Hammond (Cheryl), Veronica Joyce and Julie Young (Paul). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
