He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandra Kay; his sisters, Gertrude Townsend and Catherine Fox; and his brothers-in-law, Louis Fox, Richard Sears and Clarence Morrell.
He is survived by: his spouse Nancy L. Dixon; his children, Larry Hartman (Suzanne) of Zephyrhills, Susan Tracy (Sam) of Spring Lake, Ronald Hartman (Minny) of North Muskegon, Robert Hartman (Lynette) of Stanwood, MI and Michael Hartman (Linda) of Muskegon; and his sisters, Beverly Morrell, Norma Cleveringa (Ronald) and Martha Sears. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
