He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gavin and Rose Hassing Gavin; his wife Alene Gavin; and his sister Polly Bowdoin Gavin. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Gavin (Barbara), Debbie Cribbs (Danny) and Patrick Gavin; his sister Donna Ashley; and his grandchildren, Kerri Hall (Matt), Deanna Gavin Wilson, Michael Cribbs (Alissa), Joshua Gavin and Stephanie Dawson (Ben).
