She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Lane and Bonnie Lane; her children, Andrew Thurston (Becky) of North Carolina, Bonnie Smith (Phillip) of Dade City, Timothy Thurston (Christine) of South Carolina, Angela Jankowski of Michigan, Steven Thurston (Anjeana) of North Carolina and Michael Burdin of Zephyrhills; her grandchildren, Kimmie Vinton, Sandra Thurston and Andi Weber; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Brandon Vinton, Audrey, Brooke, Phillip Smith, Brennen Jr., Aaliyah Smith, Sterling Smith, Jakob, Kaden, Ryan, Jayce Biss, Arya, Hazel, Athena, Theodore Thurston and Dax Cannon; and her brothers, Woodrow Lane of Dade City and Billy Lane of Dade City.

She retired from Activity Director for the Alzheimer's Unit at Zephyr Haven Nursing Home.
