He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bean and Florence Bean (Cook); and his sister Claudia Doherty. He is survived by: his wife Millie Bean; and his children, Kimberly Dudley (J. T.) of King George, Yvonne Yolanda Weber (Glen) of Roseburg, James Jay Yates (Grace) of Dover and Daniel V. Bailey III (Cathy) of Eagle River, Alaska. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
