He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; and his grandsons, James Perkins and Eric Ferris. He is survived by: his children, Michael Buyea and Tammy Excell; his sisters, Cherilyn Klaproth of Pieoria, Sharon Bassett (Dick) of Madison and Donna Pierce of Earlville; and his grandchildren, Tara, Chad, Kershia, Johnathan, Randy (Nicki), Brandon Perkins (Robin), Joseph Excell (Jessica), Shelby Excell, Alisha and Kari Ferris. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
