It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Leigh Mierzwa of Zephyrhills, Florida, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret and Bernard Mierzwa; his siblings, Robert Mierzwa and Winnifred Bailey; and his grandson William Sasser.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his daughters, Linda Strutt of Zephyrhills and Michelle Stringer of Zephyrhills; his brother Richard W. Mierzwa (Virginia); and his grandsons, Tommy of Pittsburgh and Bobby Sasser of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
