He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Dysard and Frank Elandt; his stepfather Mike Dysard; his son Mark Elandt; and his sister Ardith Creighton.
He is survived by: his child Diana Thompson; his wife Jean Packard; his children, Stacey Wilkinson (Michael) of Kalkaska and Steven Elandt (Anissa) of Bellaire; his stepdaughters, Christy Icard (Rob) of Carmel and Kelly Mitchell (Andy) of Traverse City; his siblings, Estelle Derwin of Newaygo, Roxana Peacock of Big Rapids and Kenneth Dysard of Lowell; his grandchildren, Erica, Jenna, Alayna, Makenna, Andrea, Ashley and Clay; his great grandchildren, Austin, Ryan, Theresa and Juliana; and also, Bernie, Doris L. Hollenbeck and Frank B. Elandt.
