He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Talavera and Maria Luisa Talavera; and his brothers, Danny, Luis, Albert and Julio.

He is survived by: his daughter Brandi Franks (Anthony); his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Madison and Ryan; and his siblings, Alice, Mickey, Jorge, Amalia, Emelina, Sylvia and Elsa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
