She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Pruitt; and her parents, George and Annette. She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Pruitt, Tammy Turbeville (Ashley) and Carla Harden; and her grandsons, Christopher Pruitt, Alexander Vanwey, Austin Turbeville, Cody Vanwey and Nathan Turbeville. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude, one of Val's favorite charities.
