We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2024, Thomas Eugene Townsend Sr. of Yulee, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley Townsend and Hazel Townsend of Darien, GA; and his siblings, Arley Tavy Townsend, Joanne Hope, Connie Davis (Paul) and Patricia Morse.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cross Townsend; his sons, Thomas E. Townsend, Jr. (Stephanie) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Terrence J. Townsend (Sara) of Stafford, VA; his grandsons, Trent Gardner Townsend of Middletown, PA, Thomas Mason Townsend of Fernandina Beach, FL and Miles Cason Townsend of Fernandina Beach, FL; his sister Maude Porter; and his siblings-in-law, Rebecca C. Miles of Jacksonville, FL, James E. Ellison and D. Michael Crawford. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
