He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones Thrift; his daughters, Amy Nelson (Tony) and Sibyl Bernard (Anthoney); his siblings, Lois Gordon (Roy) and Joe H. Thrift (Marilyn); his niece Patricia Just (Wayne); his grandchildren, Charlene Taylor, Willie Williamson, III, Austin Richard Bernard, Haley Bernard, Brianne Bernard, Amber McCormick, Robin Todd, Larry Wren, Jr. and Tracey Mitchelson; his aunts, Nancy, Amy and Sybil; and his uncle Richard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
