She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon James Calhoun; her daughter Pamela Calhoun; her parents, Louise Brooks Cobb and Raymond Cobb; and her sisters, Loretta Moore, Evelyn Cobb and Lorraine Cobb.

She is survived by: her children, Darrell Calhoun, Cordell Calhoun (Angel) and Cynthia Calhoun; her stepson William Jefferson; and her siblings, Linda Hanrahan (Michael) of Austin, Vanessa Thurman (Lawrence) of Manassas Virginia, James Bubba Smith and Harry Smith. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
