She was predeceased by: her parents, Levy Douglas and Lettie Lee Taylor Douglas; her husbands, Kenneth Edward Carter and Oscar Franklin Jones, Sr.; and her siblings, Hubert Douglas, Hazel Rigdon and Mozell Mercer.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Gerald Carter of Florida, Joseph Edward Carter (June) of McClenny, FL., Lataine Carter Taylor (Frank) of Alma, GA. and Maxine Carter Parker (Will) of Cleveland, GA.; and her sister Mary Jo Hamilton (Pete) of Brunswick, GA.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid a private family graveside will be held Friday, December 18th at 3:00 PM at the Douglas Family Cemetery with Rev. James Carter, Rev. Jimmy Flannigan officiating.
