With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Dianne Blackwelder of Yulee, Florida, born in Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 77. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Linda Dianne may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Allen Blackwelder; her brothers, David Burgess, Leonard Burgess and Wayne Burgess; and her son Tony Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ashley Blackwelder (Bert) and Amy Stewart-Wright (Jack); her stepson Bryan Blackwelder (Karen); her daughter-in-law Tonya Stewart; and her siblings, Mary Wells Denton (Bob), Connie Grubb (John) and Larry Burgess (Elaine). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peeples (14165 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
