She was predeceased by: her parents, Josh Crews and Matilda Sweat Crews; her husband Clyde Carroll Ryals; and her children, Wayne Ryals and Patsy Ryals Nixon.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Edward Nixon; her grandchildren, Josh Ryals, Laura Brooks (B. J. Walker), Kevin Mixon and Stephanie Dutton; and her nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Molly Parker, Russell, Linda Rosnau, Lisa Smicker, Iris McSwain, Martha, Roy Mills, Sonny, Patti Ryals and Jenny Manning.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors (1305 Atlantic Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Springhill Baptist Church (941017 Old Nassauville Rd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034).
