He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy L. Lynch and Clara Moon Lynch; and his siblings, Leroy Lynch, Perry Lynch, Peggy Swain, Gloria Baylor and Pat Lynch.

He is survived by: his sons, John Paul Lynch, Jr. (Tammy), Kevin Clance Lynch (Tracy) and Chuck Lynch (Kim); his grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Brittany, Tommy, Olivia, DeWayne, Stacy, Zach, Zoey and Kelvin; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Shai, Luna, Parker, Asher, Landen, Jackson, Adalynne and Oliver. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
