He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Jenkins (Morris) of Jacksonville, FL, Cynthia Evatt of Chadbourne, NC, Steven Sowell and Michael Sowell of Yulee, FL.; his grandchildren, Zachary Sowell, Matthew Thornton, Julianna Evatt, Cheyenne Jenkins, Madison Thornton, Kamryn Jenkins and Alissa Jenkins; his brother Celester Johns (Janna) of Chickasha, OK; and his close friends, Leland and Hollister. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
