He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Jackson Adams and Ruth Shivar Adams Holmes; his son Adam Albert Adams; his grandchildren, Jessica Hale and Tyler Adams; and his siblings, Allen Adams and Janet Holmes Sasser.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Baldwin Adams; his children, Ronald Adams (Debbie) of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Adams of Yulee, Fla., Scott Adams (Patty) of Yulee and Tricia Adams of Yulee; his granddaughter Angela McKenzie; and his great grandchildren, Sean McKenzie and Travis McKenzie (Kacey).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's local humane society.
