He was predeceased by: his wife Laverne; his parents, Willis Minshew and Corine Minshew; his siblings, J. W., Ira Minshew and Madaline Testone; his son David G. Minshew (Dinky); and his son-in-law Norman Lucio.
He is survived by: his children, Troy "Billy" Minshew (Sue), Annette Burgess (J. L.), Helen Lucio, Wayne Jacobs (Mary), Reggie Jacobs (Diane) and Mike Jacobs (RaTree). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, fifty-five great- grandchildren, twelve great-great- grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
