He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey R Moore and Lillie Mae Moore; and his brothers, Leonard Moore and Paul R Moore. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mercer Moore; his children, Dana Celeste Sacco (Michael) and Christopher Moore; his grandsons, Eli Shane Sacco (Rena) and Michael David "Mickey" Sacco; and his siblings, Mark Moore (Darlene) of Hawthorne, Audrey Bishop, Sandra Davis (Harold) of Starke and Joyce Thompson of South Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Yulee Baptist Church (85971 N Harts Rd, Yulee, FL 32097).
