She was predeceased by: her husband James Hickox; her stepdaughter Marie Evans; her parents, Bert Evatt and Edna Evatt; and her siblings, Vivian Freeman, LaVan Cardell, Lillian Ryals, Nita Wilder, Margaret Jones, Junior Evatt and Forest Evatt.
She is survived by: her daughter BeLinda Peeples (Robbie); her stepchildren, Margie Hatton, Melba Hickox and James Lee "Jimmy" Hickox (Eunice); her siblings, Clara Bass and Pete Evatt; her grandson Mark Gearis; and her great grandchild Abigail Gearis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
