She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Brinkley and Lucille Brinkley; her husband Edgar F. Goodwin; and her brothers, Ray Brinkley, Marvin Brinkley, Harold Brinkley and Grover Brinkley.
She is survived by: her children, John F. Goodwin (Sabrena) of Panama City, FL, Mary Ann G. Ragsdale (Philip) of Durham, NC and Marsha G. Hamilton of Durham, NC; her brother Albert Brinkley (Betsy) of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Andrea Wilson (Travis) of Raleigh, NC, Brandon Hamilton of Raleigh, NC, Ashley Ragsdale (Matt) of Durham, NC and Timothy Goodwin of Panama City, FL; and her great grandchildren, Alex Hamilton, Ayla Wilson and Anthony Nesman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army at The Salvation Army.
