He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thelma Ward Lock and Honorable Discharge; his wife Dorothy Jean Lock; his children, John F. Lock Jr., Steven Lock, Gloria Richardson (Jeff), Karen Hair (Scott) and Michelle Lock; and his sisters, Earline Duncan and Shelia King. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
