He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Mack Eddins and Frances Eddins; and his nephew Keith Eddins. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Eddins; his daughters, Missy Eddins-Wright (Rick) and Mary-Kate Eddins; his stepson Scott Hobbs (Pam); his grandchildren, Isabella Wright, Anna Claire Wright, Mary Allynn Wright, Kylie Lemasters, Christopher Bailey and Cashton Eddins; his brother Johnny Mack Eddins (Belva); his cousin Amy Baker; and his nephews, Brian Eddins (Angie) and Wesley Eddins (Jen).
