She was predeceased by: her brothers, Chuck and Jerry. She is survived by: her husband Elzie Owens, Sr.; and her children, Bernice Whitney (Patrick) of Dothan, AL, Elzie L. Owens, Jr. (Marisa) of Anchorage, AK, Wayne Owens of Greenville, SC and Bethany Haner of Bayou George. She is also survived by 3 sisters; a brother; 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many other adopted children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either St. Judes, Shriner's Hospitals, or to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.
