He was predeceased by: his parents, Burris "Base" and Betty Morris (Kent); his siblings, Jack Morris, Burris Morris Jr., Robert Morris and Dorothy Smith; and his son Jerry Lamar Morris.
He is survived by: his former wife Martha "Louise" Clements of Compass Lake, FL; his wife Diane Meredith of Springfield, FL.; his daughters, Louise "Denese" Deal (Steve) and Janet Suzanne Webb (Robert); and his grandchildren, Jerry Wayne, Joshua, Kerri, Robbie Morris, Chasity Suzanne Webb, Jessica Renee Webb (Derrol), Emily Marie Webb, Sarah Catherine Webb, Aaron Dru Deal (Sabrina), Ashley Marie Jordon (Adam) and Austin Wayne Deal. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.
